Our client had identified a market opportunity and concept for a device that was significantly smaller, simpler and cheaper than the devices already available.

This development programme was supported by a grant from the Biomedical Catalyst Fund. This is an integrated translational funding programme jointly operated by the Medical Research Council and the Innovate UK. It provides responsive and effective support for the best life science opportunities arising in the UK.

Given our expertise and experience in this particular field, Cambridge Medtech Solutions were approached to support their development programme with development engineering, review of the exploitation strategy, and participation in project meetings with the Biomedical Catalyst monitoring officer.
